Overview
The Admin Onboarding Checklist appears when an organization admin first logs in to Fluint. It walks you through the essential setup steps grouped into three workflows: Manage Team, Connect Integrations, and Set Up Org Context.
Key Benefits:
Guided setup – A clear, step-by-step path through initial configuration so nothing gets missed
Flexible completion – All steps are skippable, and multiple admins can work through different workflows in parallel
Progress tracking – A progress bar shows how many recommended steps have been completed across the org
Note: The checklist is available on qualifying plans (Startup Monthly and Startup Annual). If you don’t see it, check the FAQ below.
Who Sees the Onboarding Checklist
The checklist appears for users who meet all of the following conditions:
Condition | Details |
Admin role | Only organization admins see the checklist |
Qualifying plan | Organization must be on a Startup Monthly or Startup Annual plan |
Not yet completed | The org-wide “Finish Setup” action has not been triggered |
Not dismissed | The current admin has not clicked “Hide for me” |
Accessing Olli During Onboarding
While the checklist is active, you can still use Olli at any time. Click the Go to Olli link in the top-right corner of the checklist page to open the Olli chat.
Overview Screen
When the checklist first loads, you see a progress bar and three workflow cards. The progress bar tracks recommended tasks only — optional tasks don’t affect your completion percentage.
Each workflow card shows:
The workflow name and a brief description
Who should own it (IT Admin, Rev Ops, or Sales Leader)
A completion count (e.g., “1/3”) and progress bar
A Start button to open that workflow’s carousel
Workflow 1: Manage Team
Owner: IT Admin
This workflow covers user access and authentication. Click Start on the Manage Team card to open the carousel.
Step 1: Configure SSO (Recommended)
Connect your identity provider (Okta, Azure AD, etc.) so users can sign in with corporate credentials. This enables secure single sign-on — users won’t need separate passwords for Fluint.
Click Go to Settings to open the SSO configuration page
Follow the prompts to connect your identity provider
Once configured, this step automatically marks as complete
Step 2: Enable SCIM Provisioning (Optional)
Auto-sync users from your identity provider. New hires get access automatically, and departing employees are removed instantly — no manual user management required.
Click Go to Settings to open the SCIM provisioning page
Configure the SCIM endpoint with your identity provider
Step 3: Add Team Members (Recommended)
Invite your team members to start using Fluint. You can add users one at a time or upload a CSV for bulk invitations.
Individual invitations:
Enter the team member’s first name, last name, and email
Click Add to List
Repeat for additional team members
Click Send Invitations to invite everyone at once
CSV bulk upload:
Click Download template to get the CSV format
Fill in the template with your team’s information (columns: email, first name, last name)
Drag and drop the CSV file or click to upload
Review the validation results and fix any errors
⚠️ Important: Make sure team members’ email addresses match their CRM login emails. This ensures deals sync correctly to the right users when you connect your CRM integration.
Workflow 2: Connect Integrations
Owner: IT Admin / Rev Ops
This workflow connects Fluint to your team’s key tools. Click Start on the Connect Integrations card to open the carousel.
Step 1: Connect CRM (Recommended)
Connect your CRM to sync deals and contacts automatically. Fluint supports Salesforce and HubSpot.
Click the card for your CRM provider (Salesforce or HubSpot)
This opens the integration setup page in a new tab
Follow the connection wizard to authorize and configure the integration
Once connected, Olli can provide account-specific insights without manual data entry
Tip: For detailed setup instructions, see the Salesforce Integration Self-serve Guide or Hubspot Integration Self-serve Guide
Step 2: Configure Pipeline Dashboard (Recommended)
Customize your pipeline view with the metrics and stages that matter to your team. This gives everyone a unified view of deal health and pipeline status aligned with your CRM.
Click Go to Settings to open the dashboard configuration page
Select which stages and metrics to display
Step 3: Other Integrations (Optional)
Connect additional tools your team uses to get more out of Fluint:
Integration | Description |
Slack | Chat with Olli and analyze deals directly in Slack threads |
Gong | Sync call recordings and conversation intelligence |
SalesLoft | Sync conversations and engagement data |
Clari Copilot | Sync call recordings and revenue insights |
Click on any integration to open its setup page in a new tab.
Tip: For detailed setup instructions, see the Slack Integration Guide or Call Integration Guide
Workflow 3: Set Up Org Context
Owner: Sales Leader
This workflow configures the knowledge and processes that Olli uses to generate tailored, on-brand content. Click Start on the Set Up Org Context card to open the carousel.
Step 1: Set Up Global Context (Recommended)
Configure your company information, products, and competitive landscape for Olli to reference. Without this, Olli’s responses are generic instead of tailored to your business.
Click Go to Settings to open the global context page
Fill in your company details, product information, and competitive landscape
Step 2: Configure Sales Process (Recommended)
Define your sales stages, qualification criteria, and deal workflow aligned with your CRM pipeline. Olli uses your sales process to recommend next steps, identify risks, and coach reps on the right actions at each stage.
Click Go to Settings to open the sales process configuration page
Map your pipeline stages and define qualification criteria
Step 3: Create Frameworks (Optional)
Build reusable frameworks for discovery calls, demos, and other sales conversations. Frameworks ensure your team follows proven playbooks, and Olli uses them to generate prep materials and follow-up actions.
Click Go to Settings to open the frameworks page
Step 4: Set Up Chat Flows (Optional)
Configure automated chat workflows for common sales scenarios and objection handling. Pre-built chat flows help reps handle common scenarios consistently, reducing ramp time for new hires.
Click Go to Settings to open the chat flows page
Completing & Dismissing Onboarding
When you’re ready to wrap up the checklist, you have two options:
Finish Setup (Org-Wide)
Click the Finish Setup button at the bottom-right of the checklist. This opens a confirmation modal warning that this action:
Dismisses the onboarding checklist for all admins in your organization
Cannot be undone
Does not affect any settings you’ve already configured
⚠️ Important: Finishing setup is permanent. Make sure all admins have completed (or plan to skip) their assigned workflows before clicking this.
Any incomplete steps can still be configured later in Settings.
Hide for Me (Per-Admin)
Click the Hide for me button at the bottom-left of the checklist. This:
Hides the checklist for you only
Other admins in your organization will still see it
You can bring it back by clearing your browser’s local storage
Frequently Asked Questions
Q: I don’t see the onboarding checklist — what gives?
A: The checklist only appears when all of these conditions are met: you’re an admin, your organization is on a Startup plan, onboarding hasn’t been completed org-wide, and you haven’t dismissed it. If another admin already clicked Finish Setup, the checklist won’t appear for anyone. Contact [email protected] if you believe it should be visible.
Q: Can I get the checklist back after hiding it?
A: If you clicked Hide for me, you can bring it back by clearing local storage in your browser for the Fluint domain. If someone clicked Finish Setup, the checklist is permanently dismissed org-wide and cannot be restored.
Q: Does finishing setup affect my team’s access?
A: No. Clicking Finish Setup only dismisses the onboarding checklist. It does not change any settings, permissions, or integrations you’ve already configured. It also doesn’t affect settings you haven’t configured yet - those can still be changed in Settings at any time.
Q: Can different admins work on different workflows?
A: Yes. The checklist is designed for multiple admins to work in parallel. For example, your IT Admin can handle the Manage Team and Connect Integrations workflows while a Sales Leader configures Org Context. Task completion is tracked org-wide, so everyone sees the same progress.
Q: Where do I configure these settings after onboarding?
A: Every task in the checklist corresponds to a page in Settings. Here’s where to find each one:
Task | Settings Location |
Configure SSO | Settings → Authentication |
Enable SCIM Provisioning | Settings → User Provisioning |
Add Team Members | Settings → User Management |
Connect CRM | Settings → Integrations |
Configure Pipeline Dashboard | Settings → Dashboard |
Other Integrations | Settings → Integrations |
Set Up Global Context | Settings → Context |
Configure Sales Process | Settings → Sales Process |
