Overview
Installation
A Fluint workspace admin must install the Olli app to your Slack workspace (*Only available for team license plans):
Go to Settings → Integrations in Fluint
Find the Slack integration and click Install
Authorize the Olli app for your Slack workspace
Once installed, all workspace members can link their accounts
Linking Your Account
Before using Olli in Slack, individuals will need to link their Slack account to their Fluint account.
Mention @olli in any Slack channel
You’ll receive a private message with a Link Account button
Click the button - you’ll be redirected to Fluint
Sign in (if needed) and confirm the link
Once linked, Olli will respond to your mentions using your Fluint account’s data and permissions.
Tip: If you belong to multiple Fluint organizations, you can link each one separately and switch between them using /olli org or within the Olli Slack App Home Tab.
How to Use Olli in Slack
Mentioning @olli in Channels
Type @Olli followed by your question in any channel where Olli is present:
@Olli what deals are closing this month?
@Olli create a business case for the Acme deal
@Olli research Snowflake’s recent earnings
Olli will respond in the thread, keeping your channel tidy.
Mentioning @Olli in Threads
When you’re in a thread, mention @Olli to get context-aware responses. Olli reads the full thread history, so you can ask follow-up questions naturally:
@Olli summarize what we discussed above
Messaging Olli Directly
You can message Olli privately through the Apps section in Slack:
In Slack’s sidebar, find Apps
Click on Olli
This opens a direct conversation with Olli (plus access to the Home tab)
Important: You must still mention @olli in your message to get a response, even in direct conversations

File Attachments
You can attach files to your Olli mentions. Olli will analyze images, PDFs, and documents as part of your question:

FAQ
Q: Why isn’t Olli responding?
Make sure you’re mentioning @Olli in your message. Olli only responds when directly mentioned and tagged - this prevents noise in busy channels.
Q: Can I DM Olli?
Yes, the easiest way is to find Olli under Apps in your Slack sidebar and message there. You still need to mention @Olli to get a response.
Q: I belong to multiple Fluint organizations. How do I switch?
Use /olli org <name> to switch your active organization. Use /olli status to see which org is currently active. Or use the org switcher in the Olli Slack App home tab
Q: Can my teammates see my Olli conversations?
If you mention Olli in a public channel or shared thread, yes. For private queries, DM Olli through the Apps section or use a private channel.
Q: Why do I see “Please link your account”?
You need to connect your Slack identity to your Fluint account. Click the Link Account button in the message and follow the prompts.
Q: Is Olli available in private channels?
Yes, but Olli must be invited to the channel first. Type /invite @olli to add Olli to a private channel.
